Ana Gallardo wrote: “Reviewing things, I find a newspaper clipping written by a journalist who happened to meet my parents on the day they arrived in Argentina in 1957.  He describes meeting the newlyweds as they got off the ship that brought them from Spain to the port of Buenos Aires. From there they crossed to the railway station, where they took the train to the city of Rosario, their final destination.  My mother had been pregnant with me for days. She was not aware of this at the time. With this newspaper clipping in hand, I approached my father, a man of 83 years, and ask him to read the text aloud. He had not known of its existence.”
