Robert Wilson is internationally recognized for his innovative productions in theater, opera, design, sculpture and video. A frequent collaborator with other leading avant-garde figures such as Philip Glass, Tom Waits, and Heiner Müller, Wilson is especially renowned for his use of time and space and for the arresting imagery of his dreamlike stagings. This video portrait, from a series begun in 2004, explores those interests while playing with the relationships and disconnects between image, narrative, subject and viewer.
