On View
Not on viewBolswert was a principal figure in the team of engravers that Rubens employed to reproduce his paintings. This print applies the same collective, unprecedently pictorial and influential language to a painting (today in the Alte Pinakothek, Munich) by the other great Flemish Baroque master. This impression, of a state before the addition of any inscription to the blank area at the bottom, and is exceptionally fine.
