"When I learned that the first 'Zeppelin' was above the Atlantic on its way to U.S.A., I worked thru the night and before it landed I had 50 prints at my N.Y. dealers..." The 658-ft Zeppelin ZR-3 was constructed in Germany as part of war reparations payments to the United States. It was later christened the 'Los Angeles'. (Kennedy 45)
