The Bust of Emperor Nero is after a pen drawing by Rubens in the Fogg Art Museum, Cambridge, Mass. Rubens' drawing and Pontius' print are after an unidentified marble sculpure that was part of Rubens' antiquities collection acquired after Sir Dudley Carleton in 1618.
