Active in Rosario, Claudia del Río was included in Edgardo Antonio Vigo’s network of mail artists and often corresponded with him. They exhibited together in Mar del Plata, Argentina, in 1993, with Vigo designing the catalogue. In “Don’t Cry for Me, Argentina,”” del Río cites the famous Andrew Lloyd Webber song featured in the musical and film Evita, a geographic reference she reinforces with the dual maps of Argentina
