This is an especially delicate example of Cambiaso's early draftsmanship. A similar motif aappears in the decoration of the villa of Tobia Pallavicini in Genoa. Bergamasco conceived and executed most of the frescoes, with Cambiaso playing a minor role. The project launced the Genoese tradition of grand secular decoration.
