On View
Not on viewPouldavid, a small town in Brittany, France, was misspelled "Pauldavid" by Eby. All previous references to this print repeat the error, so it is retained here as the print's title. This etching was based upton Eby's visit to Great Britian and France during 1924 and 1925. In printing most impressions, Eby left a skim of unwiped ink on the plate over the buildings and land to give the impression of dusk. (Giardina 119)
